But in this hot seller’s market, the right buyer can seize an opportunity. Luxury condos downtown are one of the only spaces right now where buyers hold the cards. That means a chance to buy a property at good value for your dollar. Now, before you get too excited, know that most sellers of luxury condos have the time and funds to wait it out. But not everything downtown is a million dollar plus property, and every seller gets impatient eventually. So today we’ll look at condos located in downtown Portland that have been on the market for at least 100 days. And many of these, in fact, have dropped in price in that time! Let’s dive in.

We’ll begin with this moderately priced condo on Jefferson Street, just blocks from Washington Park and the Japanese Gardens. Inside, be sure to take advantage of some creature comforts. An inviting fireplace keeps the place cozy through Portland’s rainy season. Before you get scared off by the term studio, know that studios of this era look a lot different than the often bare, stripped down rooms on newer builds. Yes, there’s a murphy bed. But there’s also a defined dining area and kitchen with gas stove and an enormous walk-in closet.

Despite the fact that it’s been on the market for over 200 days, no price drop here. Maybe it’s that je ne sais quoi that comes with a historic building.
