5 Must See Open Houses This Weekend in Portland

Open houses are a great way to get a feel for the market. They allow you to casually enter a space, without making a specific appointment, and just check out what you can get for a certain price. As always, there’s no pressure to put in an offer – it’s okay to just be looking. But if you are interested, be prepared to put in an offer! One of the main reasons sellers have open houses is to drum up interest.

So what if you suddenly fall in love with a property after seeing it through an open house? Well, you don’t want to be caught off guard. Make sure you have a trusted buyer’s real estate agent, to start. And before that, checking out properties online first can only prepare you more for what’s to come. Virtual staging is becoming more and more popular, which is great! Given the pandemic, it’s an excellent opportunity for both sellers and buyers to minimize contact (and hassle). But at the end of the day, it doesn’t replace the experience of walking through the space that could be your future home. On that note, let’s check out 5 must-see open houses that are happening in Portland this weekend!

You can see the curb appeal right away with this one, especially given the delightful paned windows. Inside you’ll find the charm continues, with period accents, a warm fireplace, and vaulted ceilings.
