5 Luxury Homes with the Biggest Price Drop in the Last 7 Days
The Portland area real estate community can’t stop talking about how hot a seller’s real estate market it is for single family homes – not condos – right now. That might lead you to believe that everything home is the grounds for a bidding war. How could anyone be lowering their prices right now?
Well, you might be surprised. As we’ve outlined before, sellers often list a little too high and then have to come down. These instances might be outliers right now, but in the big picture, it’s a normal part of the Portland real estate market. So how do you stay on top of the market and know when homes suddenly come down in price?
We have a Vestor Filter™ specifically designed for that. Simply choose “Biggest Price Drop Last 7 Days” from the menu on the left hand side of the screen. The best way to use this filter, though, is to also set an alert. Click on the heart at the top to save this search. A window will pop up offering you options on how frequently you’d like to hear about price drops. In today’s market – best to go with at least once a day.

A soaking tub with fireplace. Not too shabby, eh?
This home has been on the market for more than 3 months, and in total has dropped $151,000 from the original list price. This latest drop, though, happened just in the past week. So you could be looking at some pretty motivated sellers.
